Dental Insurance | What Is Covered?
Understanding dental insurance can be challenging, as coverage varies widely between policies. Whether your plan is provided by an employer or purchased individually, we’re here to help you make sense of your benefits. Our team will gladly submit claims on your behalf or provide the necessary documentation if you prefer to handle claims yourself.
We recommend reviewing your insurance details before your appointment. This helps us coordinate treatment and minimize delays. When contacting your insurance provider, consider asking:
- What services are covered?
- What percentage is covered?
- What is the annual or lifetime coverage limit?
- Is there a deductible? If so, how much?
- Are alternative procedures within the same treatment category covered?
- What details should I know about the specific treatment?
Please note that insurance carriers do not release plan details to third parties—even with signed consent. We’ll do our best to help you understand your policy limitations in advance, but ultimate responsibility for payment rests with the patient. We are always happy to explore flexible financing options when needed.
